Big messages without permanent installation
A banner can cover a large area without the cost or commitment of permanent fabricated signage. That makes it useful when the message, location or campaign may change.
Where banners work well
- Business openings and launches
- Seasonal promotions and sales
- Events and sponsorship
- Construction and development sites
- Temporary directional signage
- Indoor display and backdrop use
Design for viewing distance
Large does not automatically mean readable. A banner needs one strong message, enough contrast and a type size that works from the expected viewing distance.
Finishing for the installation
Eyelets, hems, pole pockets and other finishing choices depend on how and where the banner will be mounted. Planning this before print gives a cleaner installation and helps the banner stay tensioned properly.
Coordinate with the rest of the campaign
Banners can share the same artwork system as window graphics, posters and event displays, helping a temporary campaign look like a deliberate extension of the brand.
